Assuming you’ve completed the required form and made payment, you will receive an email confirmation of your appointment details. If you need to make changes just send us an email, text or give us a shout.
Shortly thereafter (within a few hours) you will be contacted by a Germz Be Gone representative by text or email to confirm your appointment date and time. We work with you to fit in your schedule and give you a narrow start time (not one of those annoying, “We’ll be there between 9am and 3pm” type deals).
On the day of your appointment, you will receive a text to let you know when we’re en route. If you opted for the car seat removal, we’ll help you take out the car seat when we get there.
When your Germz Be Gone technician arrives, they will need a standard outlet to plug into. Since we prefer to perform service outside on the street or driveway, this plug is often by the front door or in your garage. From there, setup begins and we’re off to steaming.
The process takes about 20-30 minutes per item as we do an extra thorough job. The items will still take a few minutes to dry. Dry time is normally about 10 minutes or so depending on the day.
Once we’re done with your items, we’ll knock on your door (or send a text if Baby is sleeping).
You will come out, see your items looking great, smelling fresh, smile and exclaim, “They look amazing! I’ll be sure to tell my friends and write some 5-star reviews for you!”
We’ll thank you for your business and future referrals, pack up our things, leave the area as tidy as we found it and head off into the desert sunset.

What parts of the car seat or stroller do you actually clean? When it comes to car seats, strollers, and other baby gear we clean all parts we can touch. That includes the straps, buckles, fabric, base, wheels, undercarriage, canopies, cupholders. If we can see it, especially after taking the fabric off, we clean it.
How long does it take?
Each item can be completely sanitized within a half hour. That means: detailed, sanitized, deodorized, dried, and returned to your doorstep.
I have to work, can you come to my office?
We most certainly can. Especially since your car and child car seat will be sitting in the parking lot all day, there’s no better time for you to get that car seat detailed and sanitized. Gather some colleagues who have car seats to clean and earn a FREE cleaning of one item.
When do you return items?
Items are typically serviced on location so you get them back right away.
Can I leave my item(s) outside my door for you to pick up?
Yes–as long as you feel your item(s) will be safeguarded from theft and the elements.
Can you leave my item(s) by my door when you return it?
Just like parcel delivery, we can leave your item(s) at your front door, so please ensure someone is home to bring it inside once completed or dropped off. Please indicate whether we should knock or not (just in case you know who may be sleeping). We are not responsible for any theft or damage of your item(s).
Can you install the car seat for me?
Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions and liability reasons, we do not offer installation of car seats at this time, but check out Safe Kids Clark County for installation tips.

Do you guarantee stain removal?
Due to varying circumstances beyond our control, we do not guarantee stain or odor removal. Factors like substance, fabric type, length of time on surface, heat, etc. can affect a stain or odor and set it in the fabric. What we can guarantee is we will spend extra time and effort working to get the stains out and that your item will be sanitized to the best of our ability.
What is “Potty or Spit Up Treatment”?
When potty or spit up accidents happen, like explosive diapers or hurling vomit, those fluids tend to leak into the most obscure nooks they can find. A simple removal of the fabric to toss in the washing machine won’t suffice; extra time is required to care for things like this. We always go that extra mile to ensure removal of those nasty germs in all items we service, but some conditions are simply more challenging than others when it comes to hitting all the nooks and crannies.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are only allowed in rare circumstances. If you miss your service time, we’ll simply reschedule you for another day. However, if you miss the second service time your service will be considered completed with the purchase price non-refundable.
Not being satisfied with the service you received is not a reason for a refund; however, it is a reason to give us a negative review.
